Meet Scarlett Rivers: With a lifelong passion for acting, Scarlett began her journey at just 11 years old. From Vancouver to Toronto, and even across the pond to London, UK, her diverse experiences have honed her understanding of what agents and casting directors seek in headshots, slates, and demo reels.
With a finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends, she ensures each photo reflects the unique essence of her clients while aligning perfectly with the demands of today's dynamic markets

SCARLETT RIVERS
Born and raised in London Ontario, Patrick aspired from an early age to tell stories. Writing short stories and scripts as early as 9 years old, he began creating short movies with his friends during high school- typically featuring Patrick and his friends portraying characters way out of their age range. The making of these films leads Patrick to recognize film and visual storytelling as his calling. After attending an acting course at Humber College and graduating from the 3-year film program at Fanshawe College, Patrick set out to Vancouver to begin his career as a photographer and cinematographer. Sometimes after shooting a number of corporate videos, short films, and weddings, he met Andressa Riveros in a film club he was co-organizing. They recognized a beautiful working partnership where they could combine Andressa’s directorial and acting instincts with Patrick’s camera skills to make an effective and fun working environment. They started shooting actor headshots in Vancouver, and then in Toronto after relocating there for a few years. Now settled in Calgary, Patrick and Andressa have formed Cinematic Portraits to offer emerging Calgary talent a range of quality photo and video services. Patrick is excited to continue shooting diverse photos and films for Calgarians to share their unique stories with the world.
